We explained we just wanted the cremation for our son that we have already bought an urn. They didn’t try to sale us anything like most funeral homes do. The lady got straight to the point very helpful, respectful, and GREAT pricing.

Heartless business.

Very nice place. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They help are family in time of need.

Such an unprofessional team of employees at this funeral home.

When given options to decide from; no words of comfort. Just handed my family a pamphlet and left their scattered minds to decide whatever they wanted to do- as if everyone just walks into a place like that, making orders as though it were a fast food line!

We stood like that for 15 minutes more, until we walked down the first hallway to see if someone else there could assist us.

When we went to pick my grandmother's ashes up, a desk clerk was at the front desk (on his personal cell phone), and held a finger up to signal us to "wait".

They can't even hire people who can remain uncalloused and sympathetic to the grieving families they demand payment ( UPFRONT ) for!

2 minutes it took, for paperwork to be signed and our grandmother to be returned to us.

So I work with funeral homes across the country for my business. When I met the owner of New Hope, Jay Vandiver, he just asked me one question about my services. He only wanted to know how our service would help his families. You see that is unusual. Most Funeral Home owners want to know about cost, savings, income, growth, etc. It is all about their bottom line. However, Jay has a totally different attitude. It is all about how to best serve people in their time of need. I think that says the world about the service of New Hope. I live in another state but this is a place I would send my own parents to because I know they would be taken care of. They are fantastic!

He gets up and walks around a corner to continue his phone call. We stand there for about 10 minutes.

They are 100% focused on the needs of your family.

Finally, we walk back to that front office, where the two women continued to ignore our presence, and only then do we get assistance.

How dare that place consider itself worthy to care for our handle our loved ones???

Thank you New Hope and Team for making one of the saddest times in our lives more bearable. Loosing Marcus Strong was a sudden unpleasant surprise. You made our arrangements easy and allowed us the choices to memorialize him with honor and grace. Your kindness and compassion are remarkable.

We turn to the first door on the right, come to find that desk clerk ( middle-aged Hispanic-looking male) standing in the dark room, still on his phone. He sees us and turns around to continue his call without any remark to myself, nor my mother.

They should be ashamed of themselves for forgetting their purpose and the role they take part in. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

It was as though they had my grandmother's body just kept frozen, until we came up with the total for cremation. No payment options were given or even offered.

Insensitive & unsympathetic to the grieving process of my family.

I am only grateful to have my grandmother away from that dark, cold place.

What if we could only make payments?

2 women (One, elderly. The other, about in her twenties) were in an office right near the front lobby, with windows clear enough to see us waiting- and neither bother to step out to greet us, nor ask us what our visit was for.

Would this place have kept her body like that, "until"????
